Senior Accounts Executive

AMSM is seeking to recruit a Senior Accounts Executive to join our Accounts Department on a Full-Time or Full-Time Reduced basis.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Take ownership of day-to-day accounting activities, including supplier, bank and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
Support the administration of Eyesel accounting modules, maintaining data integrity and assisting with system queries and processing issues.
Coordinate routine accounting processes, support month-end, quarter-end and year-end activities, and assist with reporting and audit requirements.
Provide operational guidance to Accounts Executives and Accounts Officers, while supporting the Accounts Manager in maintaining effective controls and improving procedures.

YOUR PROFILE

Tertiary level of education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent). An accounting qualification or active progression towards one is considered an asset.
Substantial experience in an accounts or finance environment
Strong practical experience in supplier, bank and balance sheet reconciliations
Good working knowledge of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes
Experience working with ERP or accounting systems and administering financial modules
Ability to investigate discrepancies, resolve operational issues and maintain clear audit trails
Experience supporting colleagues or coordinating routine accounting activities is considered an asset

Good command of English and / or Maltese languages.
