As a Senior Software Engineer, you will join a team focused on ensuring that gaming products are highly resilient, extremely low latency, and scalable to massive volumes, all while providing a first-class customer experience. You and your team will work closely with Product Managers to design, build, deliver, and maintain our gaming platforms and products.
As part of the rapidly growing Tech team, you will have the opportunity to play a crucial role in elevating the products to the next level!
What You Need for This Role:
- EU passport or already working in Malta with a work permit.
- 4-5+ years of in-depth knowledge of MS technologies, particularly C# (.Net 7 preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of SQL Server (Azure Managed).
- Experience writing your own automated tests (Unit Tests or Integration).
- Experience working with containerization technologies (AKS/Kubernetes preferred).
- Practical experience with messaging technologies (preferably Kafka).
- Strong understanding of architectural design patterns and best practices (CI/CD, APM, SRE).
- Experience mentoring other engineers.
It would be great if you also had experience with:
- Cloud-based technologies (preferably Azure).
- Working with NoSQL technologies (MongoDB, Elasticsearch, or CosmosDB preferred).
- Infrastructure as code (Terraform).
- A passion for detail and problem-solving, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
