Accounts Executive

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounts Executive to support our finance operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and reconciliations. This role is essential in ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining the overall financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Prepare and process invoices and payments.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies.
• Assist in coordinating and communicating with internal departments and external stakeholders, such as auditors and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Prepare financial reports, summaries, and analysis as required.
• Assist with KYC procedures.
• Utilize accounting software. Experience in using SFM is ideal but not necessary.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of A level qualification and/or early stages of ACCA.
• 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role/office environment.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Understanding accounting principles.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills and interpersonal abilities.

Working Conditions:

• Office-based role.
• Office hours: 08:00am – 17:00pm, including a 1-hour break.
