Accounts Officer

Ennesse Ltd is a Malta-based outsourcing and bookkeeping firm trusted by businesses big and small to keep their finances in order. Our team is growing, and we're looking for an Accounts Officer to join the engine room: the person who keeps invoices flowing, ledgers balanced and records spotless. If you're starting out in accounting and want to learn fast across many industries, this is a great place to begin.

Main tasks and responsibilities

What you'll be doing

Recording daily transactions and keeping client ledgers up to date
Processing supplier invoices, sales invoices and credit notes
Carrying out bank and credit card reconciliations
Helping prepare VAT workings and payroll data for the wider team
Chasing missing documents and keeping client files organised
Assisting Accounts Executives with month-end and year-end tasks
Answering routine client queries by phone and email

Educational and skill requirements

What you'll bring

A qualification in accounting at MQF Level 4 or above, or currently studying toward one (ACCA, or a related diploma)
Some experience in an accounts or admin role is an advantage, but not essential
Good knowledge of Excel, plus willingness to learn accounting software
Accuracy, patience, and a genuine liking for well-organised work
A proactive attitude and the ability to juggle tasks without losing track
Good communication skills in English (Maltese is an asset)
