The Role&nbsp;
<ul>
<li>Bookkeeping and the monthly close for every group company in Xero.&nbsp;</li>
<li>VAT returns, FS5 and FS7, and other tax and payroll submissions.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Year-end files and working with the auditors.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Monthly management accounts, with profit by location.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Cash flow, budgets, and better finance processes as we grow.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
You bring
<ul>
<li>A Malta accountancy warrant (CPA), or ACCA qualified and eligible for one.&nbsp;</li>
<li>At least 3 years in accounting in Malta, in practice or in house.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of Maltese VAT, tax and payroll.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Xero and Excel. Hospitality or group company experience is a plus.&nbsp;</li>

You lead the overall operations of your outlet to ensure profitability: rotas, daily targets and staff supervision.

<li>Lead and supervise the shop team, and be their first point of contact day to day.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Plan the weekly rota and breaks in our scheduling app, rotating staff only into stations they are trained for.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Hit the shop's daily sales targets, including Bolt and Wolt orders, while keeping labour cost in check.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Run cash handling: witness end of shift cash ups, approve larger refunds and reconcile petty cash each month.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Keep HACCP and food hygiene standards on every shift, including temperature logs, and act on any issue raised.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Manage absences, coaching and early performance conversations, with HR's support. &nbsp;</li>
</ul>
You bring:
<ul>
<li>At least 2 years managing a shop, caf&eacute; or restaurant.&nbsp;</li>
<li>A hands-on leader who stays calm when the queue is out the door.&nbsp;</li>
