Koperattiva Produtturi tal-Ħalib Group Ltd. (KPH), which is the Dairy Farmers’ Cooperative, was established in June 1958 in order to bring together all the dairy producers in Malta and Gozo to further promote their interests and increase their competitive advantage. Over the years KPH has been a leader in several agricultural activities, which include grain and feed importation, feed manufacturing, farm supplies, and support services, milk processing, and the production and distribution of the well-known Benna fresh milk products. Considerable investments throughout the years enabled the Cooperative to evolve. Members started expanding their activities penetrating and sustaining vital sectors within the local dairy and agricultural industry.

Distribution Executive

The Distribution and Cold Store Executive reports directly to the Distribution and Cold Store Manager. The focus of the role is ensuring a smooth operation within the supply chain, including warehousing of products, deliveries, and returns.

All submissions will be reviewed in line with the company’s recruitment and equal opportunity policies.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Developing efficient driver schedules using software
Managing drivers so they adhere to strict schedules.
Analyse data to assess performance, discover logistical problems and devise improvement plans.
Assist in the recruitment of quality drivers into the fleet.
Monitor driver behavior and ensure a high level of customer service.
Coordinate distribution operations, in collaboration with cold stores.
Lead monthly distributors' meetings to advise of new products or packaging.
Be the sole point of contact between distributors for the sales and marketing functions of MDP.
Advise and control all company policies that distributors are bound to by the company.
Providing weekly reports as may be required.
Ensure that distributors' contracts are adhered to and identify any shortfall in sales.
Inspect distributors' trucks to ensure they are clean, and temperatures are in line.
Daily stock control and forecasting for all product lines.
Be the point of contact for clients, such as retail shops, catering industries and hotel chains.
Any other duties as may be required from time to time.

Educational and skill requirements

Must have 3-4 years’ experience in a similar role in the fast-moving consumer goods market.
Be IT literate, especially in Excel, and have working experience in an ERP System
Possess excellent reporting and communication skills and be able to work with minimal supervision.
Be in possession of a valid driving license.
