Finance Officer

Required to provide clerical & administrative support to the Finance Dept. Working within an International environment from offices located in Valletta

Main tasks and responsibilities
  • Taking care of Petty Cash
  • Reconciling Foreign currency accounts
  • Maintaning creditors ledgers
  • Preparing bank deposits and effecting swift transfers
  • Maintaining bunker vessel accounts & processing disbursements as well as liaising with overeas principals regarding receivables
  • General office administration such as filing, data inutting, answering queries, etc
Educational and skill requirements

The ideal person for this position will be:

  • Methodical, accurate with an eye for details
  • Numerically competent
  • Able to work independently and procatively
  • Fully conversant with Microsoft Excel, Word & preferably have a knowledge of Shireburn
  • Fluent in English and Maltese or Italian
