Cargo Surveyor

Working within a group of companies who's expertise lies in shipping, logistics, maritime and a pledge for excellence, your role will be to inspect and ascertain that the damages to cargo are as per the claims received

Main tasks and responsibilities

Receiving and analysing claims
Doing on site cargo inspections, this could be at the port or clients warehouse
Preparing reports of findings
Preparing valuation reports

Educational and skill requirements

A minimum of an A' level standard of education
Fluent English and preferably able to communicate in Maltese
An analytical mind and an eye for details
Ability to learn quickly
Knowledge of shipping or insurance would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided
