Demand Planning Manager

·      Develop and implement demand planning strategies to accurately forecast customer demand for products within our stores.

·     Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to gather relevant data and insights for demand forecasting, including historical sales data, market trends, and promotional activities.

·      Utilize demand planning software and tools to analyse data and generate accurate demand forecasts for various product categories and SKUs.

·      Monitor and analyze demand forecast accuracy, identifying trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.

·      Work closely with Stock teams to ensure alignment between demand forecasts and inventory levels, optimizing inventory turnover and minimizing excess inventory.

·  Develop and maintain effective communication channels with key stakeholders to share demand forecasts, insights, and recommendations.

·  Lead cross-functional meetings to review demand forecasts, address potential supply constraints, and develop action plans to meet demand requirements.

·       Continuously evaluate and improve demand planning processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance forecast accuracy and efficiency.

·       Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

·       Proven experience in demand planning or forecasting within a retail or consumer goods environment, with a strong understanding of demand planning processes and methodologies.

·       Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyse complex data sets and derive actionable insights.

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

·       Proven leadership skills, with the ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.

·       Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
