Food and Beverage Supervisor
As a Food and Beverage Supervisor in our prestigious 5-star hotel, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our upscale bar and restaurant. Your primary focus will be to deliver an exceptional experience for our guests while managing and leading a team of skilled professionals. You will play a key role in maintaining the high standards of service, quality, and ambiance associated with our hotel.
Staff Leadership and Team Coordination:
-Supervise and guide restaurant staff, including servers, hosts, and support staff.
-Lead by example, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
-Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain seamless communication and operations.
-Coordinate with front office for optimal service.
Customer Service Excellence:
-Monitor and enhance customer service standards to exceed guest expectations.
-Address customer feedback and concerns promptly and professionally.
-Manage day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures.
-Ensure efficient workflows, proper table turnover, and timely service.
Training and Development:
-Identify training needs and provide ongoing development opportunities for staff.
-Implement training programs to enhance service skills and product knowledge.
-Address any performance issues or areas for improvement to the hood.
-Handle customer complaints and service issues with tact and efficiency.
-Address internal conflicts or challenges among staff members.
-Monitor inventory levels.
-Present bills and process payments accurately.
-Handle cash and provide correct change when necessary.
Compliance, Safety and Quality Control:
-Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
-Able to understand and follow the Company policies and procedures.
-Knowledge of food safety practices, hygiene standards, and relevant regulations.
-Uphold high standards of food quality and overall dining experience.
-Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and adherence to health standards.
-Previous supervisory or European experience in a luxury establishment in the hospitality industry.
-Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
-English language at B2 level + EU language (Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Italian).
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
-Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
