Head of Compliance

On behalf of our client, a specialized company for outsourced omnichannel customer support, experience, and complaint handling, we are looking for a Head of Compliance to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Implements an effective legal compliance program
• Reviews and develops company Policies
• Gives advice to the Management Team regarding the updated regulations through detailed reports
• Creates an effective action plan in response to audit notes and compliance violations purposes
• Supervises and coordinates all AML, Due diligence, and KYC procedures
• Performs in-house audit of company procedures, practices, and documents to identify risk
• Ensures that all employees are trained on the latest regulations and processes
• Responds to all compliance enquiries
• Performs regular monitoring to ensure that standards are adhered
• Prepares applications, notifications, and records updates for the Cyprus Securities & Exchange Commission (CySEC)
• Is responsible that the firm fulfills its annual obligations and license conditions
• Acts as the liaison between the Company and external law firms
• Reviews Company’s marketing & promotional material, Provides feedback, guidance, corrections, and internal advice
• Performs internal investigation and evidence-gathering to support legal procedures
• Provides detailed situation reports and updates to BOD on all matters being handled
• Conducts risk assessments, threat exposure assessments to issue alerts and advises on course of action.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Legal academic background
• Fluent in English and Greek both oral and writing
• Outstanding Legal English writing skills
• Deep understanding of CySec regulations
• Excellent knowledge of EU and international law
• Experience in the Forex industry is a must (A minimum of two years in similar position)
• CySec Advanced Certificate & AML Certificate
