Home Manager


We are looking for a Home Manager to join our client's dynamic team. The selected candidate will be overseeing and managing the daily operations.

ABOUT OUR CLIENT
Our client is a leading company in the disability and mental health sector and is located in Mosta.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support Services: Oversee and ensure the delivery of comprehensive physical, psycho-social, and spiritual care to all clients, upholding their inherent rights and dignity.
  • Other Services: Manage and maintain food operations, housekeeping services, upkeep, and maintenance, as well as front office administration, in compliance with industry standards and legal requirements.
  • Facility Administration: Handle various administrative tasks, including requested reports, procurement, audits, and payroll processing with efficiency and professionalism.
  • Asset Management: Effectively manage and maintain all facility assets, explore investment opportunities, and implement approved capital expenditures.
  • Budget Administration: Implement cost control measures, allocate resources efficiently, and reduce waste while adhering to the company's budget goals.
  • Professional Relationship with Stakeholders: Foster positive relationships with government bodies, service users, staff, and relatives, ensuring a harmonious working environment.
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role will be considered an asset.
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills and maintain accessibility to all team members.
  • Demonstrate the ability to handle challenging situations, delegate effectively, and show empathy towards service users and employees.
  • Exhibit excellent time management, critical thinking, and analytical abilities. Embrace an entrepreneurial and service-oriented mindset.
  • Lead with integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness, promoting professionalism in all interactions.
  • Cultivate strong working relationships with managers, superiors, and colleagues to enhance coordination and synergy.
  • Embrace a vocational attitude, displaying empathy and compassion, and understanding the delicate needs of their service users in the social sector.
EDUCATION
A recognised qualification in nursing. Current licensure as a registered nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Malta is mandatory. Level 6 or higher is preferred but not mandatory.
WORKING TIME
Monday through Friday from 08:00 to 17:00, 40 hours per week.
