Warehouse Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of food products to our retail and food service customers. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory records, managing a team of warehouse staff, and optimising workflow and productivity.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Manage the daily operations of the warehouse to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
Develop and mentor staff to enhance their performance and productivity.
Assign tasks to employees and accurately track overtime.
Conduct performance reviews and manage attendance records.
Keep detailed documentation and records of all warehouse activities.
Monitor fleet vehicle conditions, services and repairs
Implement and oversee stock control, picking, and loading procedures.
Plan and coordinate deliveries to ensure timely execution.
Oversee procedure of regular cycle stock counts within appropriate timeframes.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote the safe use of warehouse equipment.
Communicate progress and any issues to management to address and resolve bottlenecks.
Perform any additional tasks related to the warehouse and distribution operations as needed.
