Role Overview
The Creative Multimedia Designer will be responsible for crafting compelling visual and audiovisual content that enhances the Organisation's communication, branding, and awareness initiatives. This role demands creativity, technical expertise, and a keen eye for detail to develop engaging graphics, motion design, and video content across digital and print platforms, ensuring all outputs align with the Company’s brand identity and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Visual Content Creation: Design and produce graphics for print and digital media, including brochures, reports, infographics, social media posts, and signage.
- Brand Consistency: Maintain a unified visual identity across all materials, ensuring adherence to established brand guidelines.
- Motion Graphics & Video Production: Develop animated content, campaign videos, and motion design elements such as transitions, lower thirds, and title sequences.
- Creative Support: Contribute ideas for visual storytelling and assist in developing concepts for campaigns, events, and communications initiatives.
- Project & Asset Management: Organise and maintain design files, templates, and audiovisual assets to support efficient workflows, liaising with internal teams and external suppliers as needed.
- Content Adaptation: Modify and optimise content for multiple platforms and formats, keeping up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Professional Development: Participate in training, workshops, and activities to enhance design skills and remain current with digital and motion design innovations.
Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes
- Education: Bachelor’s degree at MQF Level 6 or equivalent in Graphic Design, Digital Arts, Motion Graphics, Media Production, or a related field.
- Experience: Preferably one year of relevant work experience in graphic and motion design.
- Language Skills: Excellent command of English is required; proficiency in Maltese is an asset.
- Communication Skills: Ability to clearly convey creative ideas and concepts to colleagues and stakeholders.
- Interpersonal Skills: Collaborative approach with strong teamwork and relationship-building abilities.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro, and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Organisation: Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain meticulous attention to detail.
- Self-Motivated: Driven to take initiative, explore innovative solutions, and continuously improve visual content.
- Problem-Solving: Skilled in troubleshooting design challenges and finding creative solutions to communication needs.
