Locomotive Engine Driver

• Operate locomotives safely in accordance with railway schedules, operating procedures, and signalling systems.
• Conduct pre-departure and post-journey inspections, reporting mechanical faults or safety concerns.
• Monitor train performance, speed, and track conditions while maintaining communication with railway control centres.
• Respond to operational issues and emergencies while ensuring the safety of passengers, crew, cargo, and railway infrastructure.

Educational and skill requirements
Applicant Must:

• Be fluent in English and/or Maltese
• Be customer-oriented
• Be willing to learn and work effectively as part of a team
• Have relevant experience in the position applied for
