Senior Auditor
Meliteh Recruiting is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Auditor to join our client’s team on a full-time basis in Malta.
The ideal candidate will take full responsibility for statutory audits of medium to large companies, from planning through to completion.
This role also includes coaching and supervising audit associates, preparing financial statements, and reporting findings to clients.
• Leading statutory audits for medium to large companies from the planning stage through to completion
• Preparing financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting frameworks
• Drafting completion documents, including reporting to those charged with governance (e.g., management letters)
• Presenting audit findings and reports to clients
• Providing on-the-job supervision and coaching to audit associates
• Assisting with the induction and training of new audit associates
• Supporting audit-related projects as required
• University degree or ACCA qualified
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience in auditing
• Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving approach
• Ability to deliver quality work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with standard office tools (e.g., Microsoft Office) • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
