

Project & Maintenance Clerk

We are currently looking for a Clerk to join our projects and maintenance team to be part of our latest expansion and upcoming development in St. George's Bay, Malta. An exceptionally designed and built destination that includes a 5* Hard Rock Hotel, luxury homes, renowned restaurants and an upscale shopping mall that is set to add tremendous value to the local area.
Overview:
The Clerk will support in the daily operations the ongoing project and maintenance teams on the construction site, by supporting so the project is completed on time, within budget, and adheres to all safety and quality standards.
Site Management:
- Help in the coordination of on-site activities and requirements to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
- Monitor project progress, identify any delays or variances, and implement corrective actions.
Quality Control:
- Oversee the quality of work performed by subcontractors together with team and ensure it meets project standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to quality and safety guidelines.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Support department with all the paper work related to inspections, audits, certifications, equipment documentation, staff rostering and attendance, data logging of utilities, end of month costings, etc.
- Maintain accurate records of construction activities, including progress reports, site diaries, and material logs.
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports to project management, highlighting achievements and issues.
Team Collaboration:
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Architects, Engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Lead site meetings to discuss progress, issues, and coordinate activities.
- Minimum 1 to 2 years’ experience in an office environment with clerical duties.
- IT Proficiency especially in Word and Excel and PowerPoint.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with good interpersonal skills and problem-solving.
- Good organizational, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
- S/he will be working in a team so good people skills are a must
