Sales & Events Manager

Lifestyle Group is a sister company of db Group in Malta. It boasts some of the leading restaurants on the island offering various cuisines, including Aki, Amami, Amami Food Bar, Blu Beach, Loa, Nine Lives, Manta, Tora, Espiral and Westreme.

We are now seeking a dedicated and dynamic Sales & Events Manager to become an integral part of our team. The successful candidate will be approachable, personable, and passionate about the Maltese dining scene. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and proactive Sales & Events professional to contribute to the growth and success of a new and vibrant venue.


The Role:

Reporting to the General Manager, the successful Sales & Events Manager will be a proactive and committed individual focused on maximising revenue.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the sales strategy to ensure maximisation of all revenue opportunities from group bookings, events, and exclusive hires, ensuring cross-selling and up-selling as appropriate.
  • Ensure all reactive enquiries are handled and recorded in accordance with agreed standards to maximise conversion.
  • Create, develop, and maintain strong engaging relationships with local businesses, clients, and other potential customers, and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Develop sales initiatives to drive groups and events revenue.
  • Ensure effective recording and tracking of all sales initiatives.
  • Proactively and continuously seek to enhance sales levels, reporting, and building pipelines of potential clients.
  • Build and maintain a collaborative environment with the operations and onsite team.
  • Develop proactive sales initiatives with 3rd party platforms.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Team to develop comprehensive systems, tactics, resources, and requirements to grow revenue across the group.
  • Attend large events to support the operations team and be the face of the venue(s) for high-profile and VIP clients.
  • Ensure the smooth running of events and private hires.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain sponsor relationships whilst working collaboratively on-site and group-wide activations, including product launches, sponsored events, bar activations, and special offers.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (e.g., 2+ years) as a Sales & Events Manager.
  • Exceptional communication skills and professional telephone manner.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programmes.
  • Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations with composure and grace.
