Shop Attendant

Diar il-Bniet is renowned for its fresh produce, with products arriving daily to our outlets directly from our estate, alongside other locally sourced seasonal items. Our brand extends across our Fresh Produce outlet in Naxxar, our restaurant and agritourism destination in Dingli, and our Deli in Rabat, all built around quality, sustainability, and authentic Maltese produce.

We are currently seeking Shop Attendants to join our team on both a full-time and part-time basis. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with customers, have a passion for local produce, and thrive in a retail environment.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
Operate the POS system and handle cash and card payments accurately
Maintain a clean, organised, and inviting shop environment
Restock shelves and ensure proper product presentation
Promote fresh, locally sourced produce and seasonal items
Support daily shop operations and ensure smooth service flow
Assist with basic stock control and inventory management

Educational and skill requirements

Friendly, approachable, and customer-oriented personality
Basic retail or cash handling experience is an asset (training will be provided)
Good communication skills in Maltese and/or English
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays
Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
