IT Administrator

On behalf of our client, a licensed Financial Services Company and an Electronic Money Institution, we are looking for an IT Administrator to be based at their offices in Nicosia, Cyprus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Installs manages and monitors the company’s PC’s, servers, network and security hardware in working condition and troubleshooting issues
• Performs updates, backups, restoration, migration and upgrades
• Oversees Microsoft Active Directory, and Office 365 environments
• Manages users, including setting up user accounts, security permissions, and passwords
• Maintains inventory of company equipment
• Communicates with vendors and service providers
• Supervises the implementation of IT related projects
• Participates in the monitoring and enforcement and improvement of IT Security Policies
• Assists with gathering evidence for IT Audits, and periodical reviews related to the governance of the IT Systems
  
  

Job Requirements:

• Preferably a degree in Computer Science or a related subject
• 3+ years of related job experience

Specific knowledge of the below:

• TCP/IP networking
• SQL Database Administration
• Microsoft Active Directory
• Virtualization Environments
• Firewall Administration
• Experience in managing IaaS/PaaS on Azure/AWS/Google cloud will be considered an advantage
• Experience in SQL and Python programming language will be considered an advantage
• Be fluent in Greek and English language
• Ability to work under pressure
