Junior Treasury Accountant

With immediate effect, we are looking for a Treasury Accountant to be based at our office in Limassol, Cyprus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists with the preparation of the Group’s and individual BU’s monthly and annual Cashflow forecasts and supports communication with the Treasury Head
• Assists with the preparation of the Group’s and individual BU’s monthly and annual Cashflow Statements, in collaboration with the General Accounting and Reporting Competency
• Obtains and processes purchase orders while ensuring that relevant Group policy has been followed and maintains records of all appropriate documents (e.g. approval documents)
• Assists with the processing of monthly/weekly salary payments for both crew and staff members following the approval of the Treasury Head and maintains records of all appropriate documents (e.g. payroll calculation)
• Performs monthly bank reconciliation exercises and investigates any discrepancies
• Maintains updated records in relation to the Group’s relationships with banking institutions including applicable interest, charges and quality issues
• Provides assistance to the Finance Service Line as required.

Job Requirements:

• University degree in Accounting or Business Administration (major in Accounting)
• LCCI Higher or CAT or AAT
• 0-2 years experience is preferred
• Knowledge of SAP or similar accounting package will be considered an advantage
• Excellent command of spoken and written English
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent communication and change management skills
• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and sociability skills
