Lawyer (Associate) - Commercial & Corporate

Key Responsibilities

• M&A Transactions: Handling and providing assistance with mergers and acquisitions, including managing due diligence processes.
• Transaction Documents: Drafting and reviewing various transaction-related documents.  
• Completion Documents: Drafting, reviewing, and handling all necessary completion documents.
• Legal Advisory: Providing general legal commercial and corporate advisory support.
• Team Support: Supporting the wider Corporate and Commercial team as directed by the Firm’s partners.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes

• Education: Must be fully warranted with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience. Possession of an LLM or a similar Master's degree in a relevant field will be considered favourably.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years post-qualification legal experience. Experience within corporate and commercial litigation will be considered an asset.  
• Language Skills: Excellent command of both English and Maltese is essential for this role, both in verbal and written communication.  
• Communication Skills: Possesses excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrates the ability to work effectively within a team environment.  
• Technical Skills: Proficient in handling M&A transactions and providing general corporate and commercial legal advice.
• Organisation: Able to manage tasks effectively and work under pressure.
• Self-Motivated: Is results-oriented and demonstrates a strong drive to achieve.
• Problem-Solving: Capable of effectively addressing and resolving legal issues.
