Role Overview

The Flooring Installer will join a skilled team responsible for delivering high-quality flooring solutions. The role requires hands-on installation of various flooring materials, ensuring precision, durability, and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will also contribute to maintaining the Client’s reputation for excellence by supporting the team in project delivery and customer care.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation: Install a wide range of flooring materials with precision and attention to detail.
• Repairs: Inspect, maintain, and repair existing flooring as required.
• Project Delivery: Ensure projects are completed within set deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively with colleagues to achieve project goals and contribute to a supportive team environment.
• Measurement & Preparation: Accurately measure, cut, and prepare flooring materials to fit designated spaces.
• Customer Care: Maintain positive relationships with customers and ensure that services provided meet the Company’s quality standards.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes

• Education: Technical training or certification in flooring installation will be considered an asset.
• Experience: Proven experience in carpeting, parquet, and flooring installation. Candidates must be based in Malta with a valid working permit.
• Language Skills: Excellent command of English is required to succeed in this role. The ability to communicate in Maltese would be an asset.
• Communication Skills: Ability to clearly communicate with colleagues and clients to ensure smooth project completion.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to also work independently when needed.
• Technical Skills: Skilled in the use of flooring tools, measurement techniques, and installation methods.
• Organisation: Ability to plan and prioritise tasks to meet project deadlines efficiently.
• Self-Motivated: Demonstrates initiative, reliability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Problem-Solving: Strong ability to identify issues and deliver effective, practical solutions on-site.
